Safe Contact Policy
In line with parliamentary security guidelines following the murder of David Amess MP, and Jo Cox MP some years ago, for the safety of everyone, advice surgery appointments will be offered virtually. A number of in-person advice surgeries will be arranged around the South Cotswolds for those unable to access virtual meetings.
Roz and her team have already been contacted by thousands of local residents asking for help with different issues. The overwhelming majority of contacts have been appropriate and polite. We appreciate that you may be contacting Roz about a situation that is causing you great frustration or distress, but it is not appropriate for Roz or her team to be subjected to any form of abusive behaviour.
Roz and her team will therefore be operating the following policy on safe contact:
Threats, abuse, harassment, swearing, intimidation, aggression and shouting will not be tolerated.
If your contact with Roz or a member of her team includes any such content, we will end our communication with you and we may report you to the appropriate authorities.
This policy applies to all forms of contact, including email, social media, phone calls and in-person events and meetings.
