Farming and Agricultural Businesses in the South Cotswolds

Roz Savage MP is committed to supporting the hardworking farmers and rural businesses of the South Cotswolds who are facing growing challenges due to recent changes to Agricultural Property Relief (APR) and Business Property Relief (BPR).

Family farms are the lifeblood of our rural communities, but the Government’s changes in APR and BPR rates are threatening their future. These tax changes could make it much harder for family-run farms and agricultural businesses to pass on to the next generation, especially when the rising costs of running a farm are already a huge burden. For many farmers in the South Cotswolds, these changes could mean the end of a way of life that has been passed down through generations.

Roz has been listening to the concerns of local farmers and rural business owners, working with them to understand the challenges they face. She is fighting for fairer policies that protect family farms, help ensure the survival of rural businesses, and support the next generation of farmers and entrepreneurs.
